But, 37. Yikes.
I've got only three years until I'm 40. And I don't have a bucket list because persistent superstition leads me to believe that finishing a bucket list results in immediate death. So I'm not going to limit myself like that. Three years, however, will pass in the span of my next prolonged blink whether or not there's a list associated with it.

No telling why I have a picture of myself giving thumbs-up in front of my computer. Perhaps my brain needs some memory exercises due to my advancing age? |
Since it's harmless, here's a list of things I'd like to do before I turn 40:
Travel
1. Take a drive that ends up in Maine
2. Visit Yosemite
3. Use my passport
Professional
4. Publish book about parenting a child with hearing loss
5. Get sales of No Room for Hondo to a non-embarrassing number
Personal
6. Learn to play guitar
7. Learn ASL
It's worth noting that I've had #6 and 7 on a mental list for many years. I've been trying to learn ASL since 2012. Not actively, because in that case I think I'd have it by now, but I've been wanting to learn and intermittently trying for that long.
So it's a short but ambitious list. I'd better get started right away. How long does it take to get from Pittsburgh to Maine?
